Demonstrates a thorough level of abilities with, and/or a proven record of success as both an individual contributor and team member, identifying and addressing client needs by:

  • Applying knowledge of the complex tax issues faced by US subsidiaries of publicly traded companies in Japan;
  • Applying proficient technical skills in ASC740;
  • Working with OneSource;
  • Participating in client discussions and meetings and communicating a broad range of Firm services;
  • Managing engagements by preparing concise, accurate documents and balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues;
  • Creating a positive environment by monitoring workloads of the team while meeting client expectations and respecting the work-life quality of team members;
  • Providing candid, meaningful feedback in a timely manner; and keeping leadership informed of progress and issues;
  • Innovating through new and existing technologies, along with experimenting with digitization solutions; and,
  • Working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools.

The salary range for this position is: $82,000 - $204,500, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
