Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Proposal Writer to support proposal development activities across federal Health IT opportunities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience drafting compliant, compelling technical and management narratives and coordinating with SMEs, capture, and recruiting teams. Responsibilities Develop, write, and edit proposal sections (technical, management, past performance, resumes, etc.) for federal RFPs/RFIs. Collaborate with capture managers, recruiters, and SMEs to collect inputs and tailor responses. Ensure compliance with solicitation requirements, templates, and style guides. Participate in color team reviews and incorporate feedback. Maintain boilerplate libraries and reusable content repositories. Support graphics, formatting, and layout for final submission packages. Track opportunities and assist with proposal schedules and deliverables. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business, or related field. 5+ years of experience in federal proposal writing or technical writing. Strong understanding of RFP structures and compliance requirements (especially in GovCon or Health IT). Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint; familiarity with proposal tools (e.g., GovWin, Awarded AI, or similar) a plus. APMP Foundation certification preferred but not required.
