Job Description

Property Accountant - Real Estate $85,000/yr

We are seeking a Property Accountant to join our dedicated team. Located at Braintree, MA. Our team is supportive and collaborative, ensuring a balanced work-life experience. This role will primarily involve property accounting for our communities, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in Assisted Living or affordable housing. We're looking for someone with at least five years of experience who can work in-office initially to acclimate to our processes, transitioning to a hybrid schedule once proficient. The salary is up to $85K/yr.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the monthly close process of assigned communities
• Manage and maintain the accounting software package Yardi
• Assist in year-end audits with outside auditors
• Maintain accounting books and records
• Provide ad hoc reports for Senior Management Team

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in accounting or finance; bachelor's degree preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in Property Accounting
• Proficiency with Yardi Voyager, Microsoft Office, Google Apps, and general office equipment
