Akkodis is seeking a Project Manager for a Contract job with a client in Windsor, CT . The role requires driving projects through the SDLC, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful on-time, on-budget delivery while communicating project status and risks to senior leadership.

Rate Range: $70.70 /hour to $70.70 /hour

Project Manager job responsibilities include:

• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of small to medium-sized technology projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.

• Lead project teams, assign responsibilities, and develop project schedules while managing resources effectively.

• Act as the liaison between business and technology stakeholders, communicating project status, issues, and risks.

• Maintain project plans, financial forecasting, and tracking to ensure project alignment with business goals.

• Apply various project management methodologies (e.g., SDLC, Agile, Waterfall) to ensure quality delivery.

• Review and evaluate work to ensure adherence to quality standards, organizational policies, and procedures.

• Mentor less-experienced team members and provide leadership in project execution.

• Present project updates and executive-level communications to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably with 2+ years in leadership roles.

• Experience managing multiple projects through various stages of the SDLC, with knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to present and interact effectively with senior leadership, VPs, and C-level executives.

Pay Details: $70.70 per hour
