How this role contributes to the Y’s mission: As a Y Program Director, you will be responsible for the direction, operation, and supervision of all camp, youth, teen, and family programs/events. You will oversee all programming that falls under these areas, including the staffing, program development, budgeting, and general maintenance and upkeep. You will oversee day to day center-based camp operations including associate supervision, fiscal control, program development, program area facility management/maintenance, program optimization and fulfillment, and volunteer development. You will also hire, train, supervise and lead a team of associates to deliver superior levels of member service and engagement. As a Y Program Director, you’ll contribute to the Y and to the broader community we serve by creating experiences that help people feel a greater sense of health and well-being, purpose, acceptance and belonging.
