As we expand our team, we are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Production Assistants to join us. EOE M/F/V/D

The Production Assistant works in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment. Work half of the year with 4 days on/4 days off rotation, 12-hour shifts, 6:00 to 6:00. Day and Night positions are available. We will train you!

Compensation: Entry level starts $16.50/hour Day Crew, $17.50 Night Crew, $2000 Sign-on Bonus, Quarterly Profit-Sharing Bonus.

RESPONSIBILITIES of the Production Assistant include:

• Assist the Extrusion Operator in efficiently operating the extrusion equipment and ensuring quality standards.
• Monitor and complete quality checks to assure quality of the products (color, surface, size, etc.) meets product standards prior to packaging.
• Perform placement of pallets and proper packaging techniques for finished material.
• Move material to designated areas.
• Assist extrusion operator with all machine cleaning functions including saws, tanks, etc.
• Communicate daily issues and pertinent information to production assistants, assistant operators, operators, and team leaders.
• Responsible for detailed completion of production reports.
• Complete and attach labels according to the product specifications.
• Perform housekeeping duties in the production area.

LOCATION – Easy access! Located just off I-81, exit 182. Near Montage Mountain, PNC Field, the Shoppes at Montage, and the Lackawanna County Visitors Center.

REQUIREMENTS of the Production Assistant include:

• Basic mathematical proficiency in the addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers and fractions.
• Use, read and record measurements with a tape measure or ruler.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment where temperatures that can become very hot depending on the weather.
