Product Quote Consultant - 6 month contract to hire
- 2+ years of experience in a product based field
- Computer skills (Smartsheets / Excel) is a must
- Engineering, business or IT background
General Scope : The quote team determines the feasibility, pricing, and specifications for customized product requests in order to convert customer needs into best solutions (quality, pricing, aesthetic). Prepares formal quote specification (product description, pricing, etc) and related documents to aid the salesforce in influencing the customers to purchase products. Collaborates with internal teams to win bids and meet customer requirements.
Technical proficiency, including the ability to read basic dimensions on engineering drawings and floor plans. Displays initiative in developing work methods and applying experience and training to improve efficiency and accuracy, with a high commitment towards excellence
Quality will be the hallmark of this work as we work to translate product data into a new system and format, we need team members who have a detailed eye.
Systems, Procedures & Standards : Ability to apply appropriate standards and protocol that govern the design/engineering process
Computer Skills : Ability to utilize other computer applications and software.
