Job Title: Product Designer (Consumer Products Marketing Creative)

Location: El Segundo, CA, 90245 (4 Days/Week onsite from start of assignment)

Duration: 6 Months

Department Summary:

The Global Franchise Creative + Consumer Products team develops style guides, manages global licensed product development and creative marketing communications around the world for brands.

Position Summary:

This role will support the marketing creative Manager with approvals, licensee feedback and creative direction. The position communicates directly with franchise marketing, commercial teams, regional creative leads, licensed partners and brand teams.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design of retail merchandising, digital brand stores & print & web advertising for consumer products in alignment with brand creative
• Design of creative assets for booth, ads, photo ops, signage, displays
• Communicate guidelines & do’s & don’ts for licensed consumer products marketing creative submissions
• Review and provide clear feedback on storyboards, photoshoot direction, social posts, video, retail displays and other marketing creative assets from licensees
• Social posts and influencer creative feedback/approvals for consumer products
• Copyrighting and editorial review and approvals
• Alignment/collaboration with brand marcom creative, guides & teams
• Understanding of franchise marketing strategy and alignment
• Global live events/experiences feedback/approvals for CP programs

Requirements:

• BS/BA/BFA degree in design or relevant experience or
• 5+ years relevant experience in licensing, product or creative marketing
• Working on a global team/business
• Working for a large brand and familiar with brand guidelines
• Brand approvals experience including experience with brand comply or similar tools
• Advanced skills in Power Point and Excel, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Ability to work on multiple projects / brands simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communications skills, as well as presentation skills required
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
• Knowledge of the consumer products industry (licensing, branding, design, advertising)
