The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $ 18-25/hourly at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications: Interested in jump starting your cybersecurity career with practical & applied experience? Dematic, a local OEM & System Integrator, is seeking candidates to participate in a 13-week product cybersecurity internship at our Grand Rapids facility. During this engagement, candidates will onboard into the automated warehousing & intralogistics industry, then embedded with cybersecurity SMEs & product engineers to execute cybersecurity diligence for industrial automation products. This is an excellent opportunity for Junior level students pursuing a cybersecurity design career path after graduation.
This is What You Will do in This Role: After onboarding, candidates will learn about secure product development under IEC 62443-4-1, how the standard has been applied within Dematic's product development process, and how to document cybersecurity artifacts like threat models. During product rotation(s) and under the guidance of the OT Product Cybersecurity Manager, the candidates will research existing product design & technical literature, interview product owners & SMEs, and assist in the development of context-of-use & threat model artifacts within the context of IEC 62443.
