Our client is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Private Equity Group in any US office. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience advising private equity firms and their portfolio companies on complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, equity investments, and other general corporate matters.
Candidates must hold a JD and be admitted to practice in the jurisdiction where they are applying. Experience with an AmLaw 100 law firm or the SEC is required. The role demands strong analytical and writing skills, attention to detail, good business judgment, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently. Effective communication, research, problem-solving, and management skills are essential.
