Principal Systems Development Engineer

Memory Systems Engineering, Server & Infrastructure Solutions

Dell is seeking a Principal Systems Development Engineer to develop innovative memory solutions for the PowerEdge server platforms working with a high-performing systems engineering team focused on the integration of alternative memory solutions. The integration of critical features for the alternative memory technologies into HW/SW subsystems represents a complex, exciting, and challenging area of growth in the Enterprise Server and Storage computing segments.

What you’ll achieve

As a Principal Systems Development Engineer, in this high-visibility position, you will work across engineering disciplines to deliver and sustain competitive memory solutions across the ISG portfolio.

You will:

• Partner with internal platform and development engineering teams to influence, expand, and enhance alternative memory solutions
• Partnering with platform development and systems engineering teams globally.
• Be a subject matter expert on alternative memory technology solutions extending to HW, FW, OSV, and ISV interactions

Essential Requirements

• x86 Server Architecture design understanding
• 4+ years of experience in memory, system design, or architecture
• Excellent engineering leadership skills and ability to work with and influence across a global organization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Exemplarily ‘How’ behaviors in pursuit of results

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $153,000.00 - $198,000.00.
