Duties

Provide Nurturing Care and Safety: Create a nurturing and safe environment for preschoolers, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Utilize Provided Curriculum: Utilize the curriculum and classroom resources already in place to enhance learning experiences for preschoolers.
Lead Engaging Activities: Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and experiences that promote learning and exploration.
Collaborate with Supportive Staff: Work alongside friendly and supportive staff members who are committed to creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress.
Student assessments: Conduct thoughtful observations, documentation and individualized planning. 

Requirements

� Understanding of early childhood education principles and practices

� Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students

� Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as needed

� Ability to stand, sit, bend, and move around actively throughout the day

� Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, including classroom setup and cleanup

� Full-time position: must be able to work flexible hours as needed
