Job Title - Power BI + Snowflake Developer

Must Have Skills:
- Expertise in handling large datasets and optimizing Power BI reports and SQL queries for high performance.
- Experience in Data Security and some exposure to Snowflake, performance tuning.
- Proficient in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query for dynamic reporting and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake integration, data modeling, and query performance tuning.
- Strong knowledge of scalable data modeling, including star and snowflake schemas.
- Proficiency in SQL and Oracle PL/SQL for data retrieval, manipulation, and optimization.

Job Spec:
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer with hands-on experience in integrating data from Snowflake, building intuitive dashboards, and delivering actionable insights. This role requires expertise in Power BI report development, as well as a strong understanding of Snowflake as a cloud-based data warehouse. The Power BI Developer will work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into impactful visualizations and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
• Power BI Report Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations that help stakeholders make data-driven decisions.
- Work with business analysts and end users to understand requirements and deliver reporting solutions that address business needs.
- Implement advanced Power BI features, including DAX, Power Query, and custom visuals to enhance the reporting experience.
• Data Integration and Modeling:
- Work with Snowflake data warehouse to create and manage data models that power Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Develop and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for seamless data integration from Snowflake to Power BI.
- Write efficient and optimized SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and transform data from Snowflake to Power BI.
• Performance Optimization:
- Optimize Power BI report performance, ensuring that large datasets from Snowflake are handled efficiently and queries run quickly.
- Use best practices to improve Power BI report and dashboard load times while maintaining accuracy. Required Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in developing and managing efficient ETL pipelines for clean, accurate data.
- Proven ability to manage large data volumes while ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
- Experience with Snowflake-specific features, such as Snowflake data sharing, Snowpipe, or Snowflake Streams along with familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP in relation to Snowflake.
- Report migration experience from other formats such as Oracle OBIEE to PowerBI is a huge plus.
- Hands on python skills and familiarity with other BI tools or data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) are nice to have.
