Position: Power BI Software Developer
Working Hours : EST Business Hours
Salary Range : $3000 - $4.000 Usd Based on Experience 
Type of Contract : Independent Contractor Agreement 
Location : 100% Remote - Open for LATAM region and the Philippines

About the Position:

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to support biopharmaceutical analytcis initiatives. This role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, developing mockups, prototypes and prodcution applications and presenting dseing solutions that align with documented requirements.

This role will focus on designing, developing and maintaining interactive dashboards an data models that drive and strategic decisions across commercial, clinical and regulatory functions. 

The selected candidate will work within the Quality Management system to ensure that all development and changes follow applicable procedures and meet regulatory requirements.

Duties and Responsabilities :

Work with business analysis to collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinical, regulatory, quality and IT to gahter and define software development requirements.

Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports to support clinical, regulatory, quality and teh Chief Medical Officer (CMO).

Work within an agile development framework to efficiently trasnsform functional, technical and desing specifications into mockups, prototypes and environmental builds. 

Build and optimize data models using DAX and power Query.

Integrate Power BI with data sources including SQL server, Dataverse, Clinical document repositories (CDR) and statistical computing environment (SCE). 

Ensure data accuracy and integrity through testing and verification.

Create comprenhensive doucmentation of BI solutions, including architectural desing and user training materials.

Develop end-toend documentation of BI solutions, encompassing system architecture and user training assets.

Collaborate with system owners to document system requirements, including user, functional and regulatory requirements. 

Requirements:

• Bachelo´s degree in computer science, information technology or related field.
• Minimun of 3 years of similar / relevant experience
• Familiarity with the software development life cycle
• Knowledge of GAMP5 and Software validation 
• Experience in developing and writing custom power platform applications 
• Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and their applications in software development. 
• Certification in Microsoft Azure or MS365 is a plus.
