Director, Project Management-PMO

Location: Dallas, TX

We are seeking a talented Director, Project Management to join a growing team focused on delivering cutting-edge solutions for the restaurant technology space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead & Manage Projects: Oversee a portfolio of diverse projects, including new customer implementations, technology refreshes, and internal initiatives. Ensure projects are completed within scope, on time, and exceed expectations.

• Strategic Stakeholder Engagement: Quickly gain a deep understanding of business and technology objectives, working closely with sales, client teams, and engineering to align on project requirements and expectations.

• Project Delivery Strategy: Drive the project delivery strategy through the consistent application of project management frameworks, methodologies, metrics, and tools to ensure success across all initiatives.

• Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a team of project managers, fostering an environment that encourages collaboration and continuous improvement.

• Communication & Reporting: Maintain high-level status updates on all projects, tailoring communication to multiple stakeholders, including C-level executives. Manage project risks and escalations effectively.

• Resource Management: Allocate resources strategically to meet business goals, ensuring the team remains flexible and responsive to shifting priorities.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering and development teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during project execution.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years leading a project management team that handles multiple simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Project Management Expertise: 5+ years in project management or program management, ideally within the Food & Beverage, Hospitality, SaaS, or IT industries. PMP, PgMP, or equivalent formal project management certification is required.

• Skills: Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, NetSuite, Power BI, and MS Project.

• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

• Technical Understanding: Experience in developing detailed project plans with dependencies and coaching a team on best practices.

Familiarity with restaurant technology (e.g., POS systems, touchscreen devices, order/pay at the table, WiFi, etc.) is a plus.
