Job Title: Pipe Welder
**Must be local to the Charleston area and willing to travel around South Carolina (Per Diem provided)**
Job DescriptionAs a Pipe Welder, you will be responsible for welding stainless steel and carbon steel piping using TIG (GTAW) and STICK (SMAW) processes. You will read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and welding symbols to perform layout, fit-up, and welding of pipe systems to exact specifications. Conducting visual inspections and quality checks on welds will be a critical part of your role, along with collaborating with pipefitters, foremen, and project managers to meet project deadlines.

Work EnvironmentWork in diverse environments such as heavy industrial plants and new construction sites. Examples of plants include Ingevity, Ineos, and Kinder Morgan. Adaptability to different site conditions is essential.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Summerville, South Carolina.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
