Job Description: Build a lasting, rewarding career in mental health. At Island Psychiatry, you'll receive close mentorship from our CEO/Medical Director and lead Psychiatrist/Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner while developing advanced skills in a broad range of cutting-edge psychiatric treatments.
Key Responsibilities - Administer Spravato® (Esketamine) and TMS treatments under established clinical protocols.
- Assist the MD and Nurse Practitioner with psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment.
- Accurately document sessions, assist with note-taking and scriptwriting, and maintain thorough patient records.
- Support patients throughout their visits, ensuring a professional and compassionate experience.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to deliver coordinated, high-quality care.
- Engage in ongoing learning and development as part of a supportive, growth-oriented team environment.

Weekly Schedule: Start part-time (8-16 hours per week) during an introductory period to ensure mutual fit. The schedule is highly flexible at this stage, and a well suited candidate will expand into a full-time role.
Work Location: In person. We have two offices located in Port Jefferson Station and the Huntington area of Long Island. Most of the work-about 3-4 days per week-will be in the Port Jefferson location, and the remainder will be in Huntington. There will be two to three days a week of evening hours to accommodate patients.

Requirements - Must be a Physician's Assistant (PA) in NY State
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
- High levels of curiosity and caring are more important to the organization than any level of experience in Psychiatry.
Benefits - Competitive salary: $130,000 - $140,000 per year.
