What You'll Do:

Initiate new prior authorization requests to providers.
Identify the correct prior authorization forms for each insurance provider.
Coordinate with prescribers and medical offices to complete prior authorization forms.
Follow up with medical offices on the status of prior authorization requests.
Communicate prior authorization status updates to patients and providers.
Coordinate with medical offices on appeals.
Answer internal questions about prior authorization requests.
What You'll Bring:

High school diploma or GED (required), Bachelor's degree (strongly preferred).
Customer service or inbound call center experience (required).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong technical skills, analytical abilities, attention to detail, good judgment, and a strong operational focus.
A passion for providing exceptional patient care.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across departments.
Flexibility to work shifts ranging from 8 AM to 8 PM, including rotational Saturdays (9 AM - 5 PM).
1+ year of experience with prior authorizations or insurance verification in a pharmacy (preferred).
Knowledge of pharmacy benefits and claims (preferred).
