Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This position is the point of contact between providers and patients during each visit, playing a vital role in creating a calm, yet efficient experience for our patients and their parents. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and a genuine passion for helping others.

Hours:

Monday - Friday: 10am - 7pm

Weekend Coverage Rotation required

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist providers and provide excellent patient care at all times

• Pediatric Vaccine Administration

• Pediatric Vital Signs

• Patient Intake and Chart Reconciliation

• Perform in-office labs

• Keep exam rooms, lab, and restrooms clean, neat, and stocked

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous experience in a medical office is required

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

• Professional appearance and attitude

• Bilingual skills are a plus (if applicable)

Working Conditions:
This position may require prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and working on a computer. Some lifting of office supplies or medical records may be necessary.
