Job Description:

Calling all compassionate caregivers! We're on the lookout for an awesome PCA to join our team and provide top-notch care to our clients. Sure, it's a demanding gig with availability needed most days, but it's also incredibly rewarding. Imagine the joy of helping those in need and seeing their gratitude firsthand! If you're patient, friendly, and great at communicating, we want you. Get ready to follow instructions, tackle a variety of tasks, and make a real difference in people's lives!

Responsibilities

• Remind clients to take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week

• Work Location: In person

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

San Marcos, TX : Relocate before starting work (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Required)

• Experience as a HHA preferred
• CPR/First Aid Certification required
• Valid TB Test required
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints

• Strong ethics

• High school diploma or equivalent
