Star Hill Baptist Church, located at 1400 North Foster Drive Baton Rouge, Louisiana,70806 is prayerfully seeking a full-time pastor, who is called by God and equipped to effectively preach and teach the word of God. This person must possess excellent leadership abilities; strong organizational, critical and analytical thinking skills, emotional intelligence and the ability to foster relationships with members of the church as well as the community.
Position Description: The pastor is responsible to the church for providing spiritual, educational, administrative leadership and outreach. The pastor will use his/her skills in proclamation,motivation and pastoral care to meet the needs of people in the church and the community for which the church is responsible.

Preferred Qualifications:
• A licensed ordained minister with a minimum of 5 plus years pastoral experience and be able to provide documentation of licensure and ordination.
• Degree from an accredited Seminary, School of Divinity,Bible College or University.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Plan and lead worship that inspires and challenges attendees to apply biblical teachings to their daily lives.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships withall ministry leaders.
• Maintain a consistent study and prayer life.
• Demonstrate a lifestyle committed to Christ through choices and practices.
• Teach weekly Bible Study and collaborate with the Sunday School Facilitators.
