**Description**

The Assistant Manager is an hourly employee responsible for the operation and supervision of a theatre and its staff, acting as a representative of Regal in line with our mission and policies.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include:

  • Regular and consistent attendance.
  • Upholding theatre policies.
  • Training, developing, coaching, and supervising non-management employees.
  • Performing all staff positions as required.
  • Operating projection and audio-visual equipment, maintaining systems, and ensuring technical operations.
  • Ensuring alcohol certification and training are current where applicable.
  • Monitoring safety, loss prevention, and handling emergencies.
  • Ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Counting, depositing, and reconciling receipts.
  • Adhering to dress code.
  • Completing or progressing through management certification programs.
  • Understanding and reviewing ROM.
  • Participating in hiring, scheduling, coaching, and employee discipline processes.
  • Controlling costs and managing supplies and inventory.
  • Supervising theatre maintenance and repairs.
  • Marketing and scheduling film showings.
  • Reading and understanding training materials on topics like harassment and discrimination.

Additional duties may be assigned by the GM or senior management.

**Pay Scale:** $22.50

**Benefits:** Free movie passes, discounted concessions, and a 401(k) plan with company match after six months and age 21.

**Qualifications:**

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least three months supervisory experience or six months theatre experience with Cast Certification.
  • Legal age to sell alcohol if applicable, with required training.

**Skills:** Good communication, math, reasoning, computer proficiency, interpersonal skills, and physical ability to perform job duties.

**Supervisory Responsibilities:** Direct supervision of staff, including training, scheduling, performance appraisal, and discipline under company policies and law.

**Physical Demands:** Frequent standing, walking, sitting, handling, reaching, talking, hearing, occasional climbing, stooping, and lifting up to 60 lbs.
