Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay UltraSource in Hollis, NH is currently seeking applicants for a Part time Accountant responsible for managing the day-to-day tasks of A/P, A/R, general ledger transactions, fixed assets, and monthly and year end reporting. The ideal candidate will have superior attention to detail and a passion for taking on new challenges. This is an on-site position.

Job Location:

Hollis, NH is a small suburb in Southern New Hampshire, an hour north of Boston, MA and conveniently located near other major cities and access points in the New England area. Vishay UltraSource has 27,000 sq. ft of manufacturing space and approximately 85 employees working between two shifts.

What you will be doing:
  • Prepare account reconciliations for assigned account.
  • Prepare and enter journal entries as required.
  • Weekly cash clearing and AR file/details send to collections team.
  • Recording and review of Accounts Payable including matching invoices to purchase orders and entering invoices into the ERP system.
  • Work with Purchasing and Vendors to resolve vendor invoice issues.
  • Preparing and processing weekly check runs.
  • Post biweekly Payroll details into local GL, prepare month end Payroll accrual.
  • Bi-Weekly Concur Approvals.
  • Assist the Cost Accountant/Division Controller with month-end and year-end close process.
  • Assist with recording fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the ERP system.
  • Assist with accounting for all fixed assets and depreciation.
  • Assist with Generating and Reviewing Weekly Cycle Counts.
  • Assist with Monthly Financial Reporting for Management.
  • Assist with Audit Process.
  • Adhere to financial concepts for financial reporting, including adhering to SOX and Internal Controls requirements. Includes maintaining the required SOX documentation.
  • Other responsibilities as required

What you will bring along:
  • Associates degree required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and in using ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have a customer-oriented focus with a creative and winning attitude.
