Summary: The Packaging/Production Graphic Designer - Golf Ball Operations will be responsible for concept and execution of creative for packaging, promotional materials, and marketing campaigns for Acushnet Company brands. Responsibilities: Use graphics programs to create successful designs for packaging, promotional materials, or marketing campaigns. Work with marketing clients to conceptualize designs and marketing campaigns that will advance the company's merchandising or branding objectives. Prepare product packaging and promotional mocks for photo shoots/presentations. Check press proofs for errors in file preparation or copy. Provide on-press support with some travel required. Prepare files with specifications for print. Research and implement best practices for overall team efficiency. Distribute product photography and graphic files to company personnel, vendors or sales partners as requested. Participate in product development meetings with marketing and potential vendors. Color correct and clean up photography. All other duties as assigned. Requirements: BA degree in Graphic Arts or related field and a minimum of three years' experience or high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years graphic production/packaging in a corporate environment. Thorough knowledge of prepress methodology and technology. Experience in Macintosh based applications. Must be able to work at a computer/keyboard for extended periods.
