Operator 3, Packaging Operations Compensation

• The pay for this position is $20.43 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Operator 3, Packaging Operations Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is 10:15pm – 6:15am, Monday through Friday

Operator 3, Packaging Operations Responsibilities

• Operate and clean production equipment such as filling lines and bagging equipment (SpeeDee & All-Fills)
• Assemble and disassemble machines for cleaning
• Monitor critical process parameters (e.g., temperature, humidity, RPMs)
• Package final product into containers per SOP and SMP guidelines
• Move materials from storage/staging areas to workspaces using manual/motorized pallet jacks
• Maintain accurate production and cleaning records per Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
• Ensure final product meets weight tolerances
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues independently
• Perform other duties as needed per department requirements
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, including use of PPE such as respirators, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and hearing protection

Operator 3, Packaging Operations Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in manufacturing, packaging, and/or warehouse operations
• Must be clean shaven and comfortable wearing a respirator daily (per OSHA fit test requirements)
• Must be able to pass a physical for forklift operation and respirator fit test
• Must be capable of standing, walking, and climbing stairs 50–95% of the workday
• Must be able to lift repetitively throughout 8-hour shifts (1–5 lbs: 70%, 5–35 lbs: 30%)
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience is highly beneficial
• Experience working in dusty environments with respiratory PPE
• Familiarity with GDP and GMP environments
