Full-time optometric physician wanted to join our large team of 30+ supportive and friendly professionals. We are a large single location practice with emphasis on high quality patient care and a work-life balance for our staff.
We practice full-scope optometry including eye and vision care and the ideal candidate will have prior practice experience. We manage eye disease making practicing optometry challenging and rewarding in addition to routine refractive care. Our patients are very appreciative and have shown us with over 800 reviews averaging 4.9.
Our professional staff allows you to practice at your highest level. Appointments are scheduled to allow you enough time to practice at a comfortable rate. Our well trained technicians prepare each patient for you with a comprehensive battery of testing.
Our practice has the modern equipment needed to practice at your highest level with 4 full-lanes including automatic/electric refractors, new slit lamps, and networked computers to display images from our preliminary testing instruments. These include Optos (performed on all comprehensive exams), Topography and Visual Field and more. We also have a top level of supplementary testing instruments including OCT-A, IPL, Lipiflow and A-Scan for myopia control.
Your daily responsibilities would include examining about 20 patients in a day. Our exact hours differ by the day, you would have input into your schedule and we have limited early and evening hours leading to a better work/life balance. You would be expected to work about every other Saturday which is a shorter work day.
Each of our optometrists provide medical eye and vision care. An interest in Myopia Control would be especially valuable as that part of our practice has been growing quickly. Expertise in other areas such as dry eyes or specialty contact lens fitting would also be valuable. Compensation is offered for our doctors to take continuing education to maintain and improve one's skills. The opportunity to train to become more expert in a specialty is also available after joining the practice.
