Job Satisfaction: Each day you will positively impact each patient you serve.Job SummaryThe Occupational Therapist is responsible for helping people participate in the things they want and need to do through the therapeutic use of everyday activities.
Services may include comprehensive evaluations of the client’s home and other environments, recommendations for adaptive equipment and training in its use, training in how to modify a task or activity to facilitate participation, and guidance and education for family members and caregivers.Education and/or ExperienceBachelor’s degree requiredLicense/Certification/RegistrationCurrent licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state providing services.
Current certification of National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.Work ScheduleDay Shifts as needed, 8:00am-5:00pm; PRNOccasional weekend
Occasional holidayPayThe hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.$31.75 - $48.00 per hourWhat Makes Avera Special?
