Salary: $90,000 - $135,000 per year
A bit about us: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Network Security Administrator with proficiency in Cisco Meraki and Security. This exciting role is based in the fast-paced Energy industry, where you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and security of our company's network infrastructure. You will be at the forefront of developing and implementing robust security measures, ensuring the seamless and secure operation of our network system. This role requires an individual with a strong technical background and the ability to handle complex network changes. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience.

Job Details Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of our organization's network security infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
2. Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, protocols, and procedures to harden our network systems.
3. Administer and manage Cisco Meraki network solutions, ensuring network security and efficiency.
4. Regularly perform security audits, risk assessments, and analysis to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement necessary countermeasures.
5. Manage VLAN configurations, IP schemas, and routing protocols to ensure optimal network performance and security.
6. Handle network changes, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining the integrity and security of the network.
7. Collaborate with the IT team and other stakeholders to develop and implement network security strategies.
8. Work closely with the Azure cloud platform, ensuring the secure integration and operation of cloud-based systems.
9. Provide technical support and guidance to staff on network security matters.
10. Keep abreast of the latest security trends, threats, and technologies, implementing necessary upgrades and updates to our network security infrastructure.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in network security administration, preferably in the Energy industry.
3. Strong technical knowledge of Cisco Meraki network solutions and security.
4. Proficiency in network hardening and implementing security measures.
5. Experience with VLAN configurations, IP schemas, and routing protocols.
6. Familiarity with Azure cloud platform and its integration into network systems.
7. CCNA certification or equivalent is required.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex network changes.
9. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
10. Up-to-date knowledge of the latest network security trends, threats, and technologies.
11. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
12. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of network security.
