Your Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Financial Management
- Oversee the daily operations of multiple apartment communities, ensuring high occupancy rates and resident satisfaction.
- Manage budgets, financial reporting, P&L statements, and cost control strategies to maximize net operating income.
- Ensure timely submission of operational and financial data to senior leadership.
- Conduct market surveys to stay competitive with pricing and trends.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and train on-site teams to ensure top-tier performance and customer service.
- Conduct daily and weekly team meetings to provide inspiration and direction.
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and fair housing laws.
Marketing & Resident Relations
- Implement strategic marketing and leasing plans to maintain high occupancy levels.
- Ensure high resident retention and satisfaction through proactive engagement and superior service.
- Enforce community policies, collections, and resident compliance.
Property Maintenance & Compliance
- Conduct regular property inspections to uphold safety and maintenance standards.
- Oversee vendor management, repairs, and capital improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with fair housing laws and landlord-tenant regulations.
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of experience in multifamily property management
2+ years as a Community Manager overseeing 300+ units (multi-site experience preferred)
Proven leadership experience managing teams across multiple locations
Strong knowledge of budgets, financial reporting, and rent collections
Excellent communication, sales, and marketing skills
Proficiency in Yardi, Voyager, LRO, Entrata, or similar software
Valid driver's license required (must be able to travel between sites within a 2-mile radius)
Work Schedule & Environment:
Monday-Friday with flexibility for weekends/evenings as needed
Travel required between three properties within a 2-mile radius
Combination of office and field work, engaging with residents and staff daily BGSF
