Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• Associate Degree (preferred).
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging MRT (New Mexico licensure) (required).
• American Registry Radiologic Technologists R.T. (MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist ARMRIT (required).
• BLS Certification at the time of hire (required).

For Registered Technologist Trainees/Apprentices:

• PMRT (Provisional NM licensure) (required).
• American Registry Radiologic Technologists R.T. (R) (ARRT) (required).
• Successful completion of ARRT(MR) Boards within two years of hire.

Your Responsibilities

As an MRI Technician, you will:

• Instruct patients on MRI procedures and ensure their comfort.
• Select appropriate imaging techniques and calibrate equipment.
• Obtain images and manage records efficiently.
• Perform quality assurance on MRI equipment.
• Maintain clinical supplies and assist in training staff and students.
• Adhere to safety standards and compliance regulations.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and seminars.

Compensation: Maximum offer for this position is up to USD $47.83. The compensation range considers various factors, including experience and training.
