We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Accounting and Finance team.  You will play an active role with all aspects of meter data processing. Duties to include:

1. Process and submit load and generation data on a routine basis, process disputes when necessary.

1. Validates billing and WAN data from meter records; assists with billing data inquiries.
2. Coordinates meter data readings and submissions with other MRES staff and organizations.
3. Creates and maintains related reports.
4. Ensures accuracy and integrity of all meter data and related databases.
5. Assists with settlements data and related analyses.
6. Develops and maintains procedures and training for backup meter data processing and submission.
7. Creates and maintains permanent documentation of projects, data, software and training materials.
8. Keeps abreast of relevant profession, industry, and inter-utility developments.

Job Requirements

Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in accounting or a technical field and two years relevant experience. Ability to work with mathematical concepts. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Spreadsheet software; Database software; and Word Processing software.
