We are seeking a Medical Practice Manager to become a part of our team!

Responsibilities:

• Process AR and AP, go over aging report with owners once a month.
• Manage other office staff and their tasks from the point that their roles are being fulfilled, their hours are defined and the FTE's are appropriate (sick time, PTO and to minimize overtime).
• Establish, update, and enforce office policies and the office handbook.
• Enter and manage daily deposits
• oversee and maintain the providers' work and vacation schedules
• Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers, property management and third-party insurance contracts
• Some HR duties such as recruitment, on-boarding, and employee reviews
• Oversee and maintain the purchasing, maintenance, and repair of clinic equipment and supplies and maintain office aesthetic and condition
• Serve as the point person for information technology issues, electronic medical record management, and vendor relations
• Establish and enforce healthcare policies and procedures
• Other admin duties as necessary

​ Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in health care administration or related field preferred
• Experience in a managerial role at least 2 years
• Experience in a healthcare role at least 2 years
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience, (EPIC preferred) and familiarity with Meaningful Use Electronic Health record incentive programs.
• Knowledgeable and comfortable in practice management duties such as budgeting, billing, finance, healthcare regulations, HIPAA and medical terminology
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Experience with technology and systems typically found in health care environments ( I.e. Microsoft office suite, patient records, etc)
• Basic understanding of ICD 10 and CPT coding, required
• Payroll, AP, AR experience required
• Quickbooks experience preferred
• Insurance contracting/negotiation experience, preferred

This is a M-F 8 hours a day position. Remote work is not an option.
