Job Title: Medical Office Manager - Hyman Gross MD Inc.

Company: Hyman Gross MD Inc. - A distinguished medical practice located in Santa Monica, CA, specializing in Behavioral Neurology, including the treatment of sleep apnea, Alzheimer's dementia, and other forms of dementia. Our team is dedicated to providing personalized and compassionate care to our patients.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Position Summary:

Hyman Gross MD Inc. is seeking an experienced and highly organized Medical Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our small but busy medical practice. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as a strong background in medical office administration. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring that our practice runs smoothly and efficiently, providing outstanding support to both our patients and medical staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of the medical office, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Supervise and train front desk staff, medical assistants, and other administrative personnel.
  • Oversee patient scheduling, registration, and check-in processes.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other relevant laws.
  • Coordinate with insurance companies regarding billing, claims, and reimbursement issues.
  • Monitor office expenses, manage inventory, and order supplies as needed.
  • Develop and implement office policies and procedures to improve patient care and practice efficiency.
  • Act as a liaison between patients, staff, and Dr. Hyman Gross to ensure clear communication and excellent patient care.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in medical office management or administration.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, office procedures, and healthcare regulations.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, as well as work collaboratively with others.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with patients, staff, and physicians.
  • Familiarity with insurance billing, coding, and reimbursement processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field is a plus.
