Job Description:


Snelling has an immediate opening for a Medical Assistant/Receptionist in Louisville, Ky. The Medical Assistant/ Receptionist should be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude:


Job duties include:

• Insurance Verification
• Co-payment, Co-insurance and balance collections.
• Perform routine medical tests, such as blood pressure and glucose testing.
• Collecting correct and accurate initial and established patient information over the phone and upon check-in to maintain updated patient records.
• Gather and organize patient information, such as test results and insurance forms.
• Ensure that office supplies and are maintained properly.
• Schedule appointments.
• Answer telephones and direct calls to office personnel according to company procedures.
• Prepare records, reports and correspondence to keep charts up to date.
• Gather information from patients to be used in the preparation of healthcare insurance claims.

Front Desk receptionist Requirements:

• Must have own transportation
• At least 1 year of Medical Reception experience
• Must have medical terminology knowledge
• Works well in fast-paced environment
