Our client is actively seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their Oil & Gas team in Denver, CO). This role will require travel to West Texas on a regular basis to support existing oil & gas facilities.
Performance Expectations :
- Writing scopes of work
- Estimating project costs
- experience including working with Operations.
- PSM or MOC experience.
- Process Engineering experience in Gas plants
- Mechanical or Piping (not pipeline) experience in a facility
Professional Requirements :
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5-8+ years of experience on oil & gas related projects.
- Proficiency with piping, valves, fittings, and piping arrangements in the field.
- Evaluating PSV, flare systems, inlet, and discharge piping sizes to ensure compliance with client requirements.
- Familiar with the gas process/gas equipment
- Competency with creating P&ID redlines in the field.
- Develop data sheets, sketch properly engineered pipe sketches for new designs.
- Direct experience with Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and Management of Change (MOC) requirements and regulations.
- Oil & Gas industry experience.
- Experience with (VMG, Promax, Hysis) is a plus but not required.
