Symbiotic Services, a leading staffing firm, is currently seeking a skilled Meat Cutter/Butcher for a prominent family-oriented business.

Job Description:

• Fabricating high-quality portion-controlled meats for the food service industry.

Duties:

• Fabricating steaks, roasts, and chops according to industry standards.
• Maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by enforcing standards and procedures; complying with health, sanitation, and legal regulations.

Hours:

• Monday through Saturday, (approximately) 5 am to 1 pm during summer months and (approximately) 5 am to 3 pm during the "season" (November through May).

Compensation:

• Pay based on experience, negotiable. Overtime available during the season.

Qualifications:

• Some experience preferred, particularly in the food service processing business, but retail butchery or culinary experience may suffice.
• On-the-job training available for motivated, less experienced candidates.
• Prompt, daily attendance, combined with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift boxes up to 80 lbs.
• Military experience is a significant plus.
