Job Responsibilities The Tri-County Technical College Arts and Science School division is seeking collaborative, energetic, and innovative Mathematics Adjuncts. Reporting to the Director of Adjunct Faculty and Student Support , the successful candidates will teach courses using systematically planned and delivered instruction for the program; maintain records of student academic progress and attendance, evaluate the level of achievement, and assign grades for the program. Teaching Assignments may include both day and evening classes, and at various Tri-County Technical College community campuses within Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens counties. The Fall 2024 Semester begins on August 12. This role is a part-time, non-benefited role.
Coursework may include courses with prefixes such as MAT, MATH, or STAT. Accounting, engineering or business-related courses are unable to be credentialed for this role.
Minimum and Additional Requirements Masters degree in any discipline with 18 graduate hours in pure mathematics or statistics (coursework may include courses with prefixes such as MAT, MATH, or STAT. Accounting, engineering or business related courses are unable to be credentialed for this role).

Preferred Qualifications Preference will be given to applicants with teaching experience in a community college; successful experience using a variety of active and collaborative learning strategies; and experience implementing innovative assessments to measure student learning.
