Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Material Handler/Packager to assist in packaging operations on a press machine. This role supports the machine operator by handling finished product rolls, packaging them into boxes, and preparing pallets for transport. No prior machine operation experience is required—training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist the press machine operator by removing finished rolls and placing them into boxes
2. Tape and seal boxes once filled and stack them on pallets
3. Use pallet jacks to move completed pallets to the designated area
4. Lift boxes weighing up to 40 lbs regularly
5. Replenish supplies at the workstation when needed
6. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including end-of-day sweeping
7. Perform basic equipment operation and follow all standard operating procedures
8. Follow written work order instructions and conduct basic quality checks
9. Participate in 5S workplace organization practices as required

Required Qualification s

1. High school diploma or equivalent vocational qualification
2. Ability to consistently lift up to 40 lbs
3. Basic understanding of safety practices and workplace cleanliness
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
5. Less than 1 year of experience required; entry-level candidates encouraged to apply
6. Must wear steel toe shoes (required)
7. Safety gear including glasses, ear plugs, and high-visibility vests will be provided

Preferred Qualifications (if any)

1. Previous experience in packaging, warehouse, or general labor roles is a plus
2. Familiarity with pallet jacks and basic material handling equipment

Work Environment & Schedule

1. Fast-paced production environment
2. Long-term special project, expected to last up to a year or longer
3. Potential for permanent hire based on performance and business needs
