At Chariot, we are building modern, end-to-end payment infrastructure making donors' lives easier, and nonprofits' lives better. $500B gets donated to charity each year in the US and the existing technology/infrastructure was still built for our grandparents’ generation. Chariot is here to change that. The Role Not only has Chariot demonstrated the significant need for our technology, the nonprofit sector is also hungry for more educational resources on DAF fundraising. It creates a tremendous opportunity for us to focus our marketing energy on research, thought leadership and other resources. There is a huge gap, in an area of intense focus and we are positioned to own the category. While we’ve been building up the foundational elements for this strategy you will be the first specialized marketing lead to own and grow our reach by 10x over the next 2 years. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Marketing Lead to join our fast growing team of 19 Own the Marketing function of Chariot from planning, to execution, to analytics. Generate high quality written and visual assets across channels that lead to increased engagement and build Chariot’s audience Partner closely with our Head of Strategy, Mitch Stein , to take the many valuable assets we already have internally (knowledge, data, industry presence, relationships) and turn them into a well-oiled marketing machine. More specific opportunities in the role include: Writing case studies , customer spotlights and industry analysis for our website. Planning & executing educational webinars with industry experts, that include written recaps and video highlights. Leading project management and execution on industry initiatives like DAF Day . Creating educational sessions and presentations for conferences and nonprofit staff trainings. Optimizing website content for search discoverability on key topics and terms. Generating templates and other downloadable assets . Plugging these various pieces into a robust email communication (via Hubspot) & social media schedule. Engaging other industry blogs, podcasts, & media outlets for partnership opportunities. About You You have experience working on a broad range of marketing asset planning and execution. You have strong writing skills, an eye for visual quality, and strategic instincts. You’re able to grasp the nuances of our subject matter (DAFs & Nonprofits) and business model quickly, and take them into consideration for all of our marketing efforts. You’re excited by a big growth opportunity - building a robust marketing function from the ground up - and able to work independently toward higher level goals.
