MANUFACTURING ENGINEER INTERNSHIP
Are you looking for a great internship opportunity in San Luis Obispo as a Manufacturing Engineer Intern, then we would like to hear from you. This internship is for our Fall/Winter Manufacturing Internship Program. This is not our summer internship program, that will be posted at a later date.
**This position is 100% ONSITE at ESAero in San Luis Obispo, CA**
Company Overview:
Empirical Systems Aerospace, Inc. is seeking Interns with a background in Manufacturing Engineering to join our team for our Fall/Winter Internship program. ESAero is a growing aerospace company in the San Luis Obispo area and provides various services which include but are not limited to rapid system development, on-demand niche engineering, hands-on development/testing, and UAS aerospace system manufacturing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Manufacturing Engineer Intern:
Assist in all engineering efforts: Requirements, Design, Built, Test, Delivery
Help to create solutions to complex technical problems
Build and set up equipment
Assist in the creation of prototypes
Assist in creating build documentation
Utilize machining tools to modify and create parts
Assist with Work Packets
Ideal intern hours 20hrs or more per week
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Current or recent engineering student
Demonstrated clear communication & writing skills
Demonstrated application of engineering knowledge and skills
Willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and make it happen
Consistently abide by all safety requirements
