The CAS Operations team is looking for passionate and highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer to contribute to our vision of being the preferred OEM supplier of complex aerospace engine, flight and airframe electronics. The core purpose of the Manufacturing Engineer position is to leverage technical experience on process and product improvements through teaming with colleagues to improve quality, cost and delivery to meet internal and external customer expectations.
As the successful candidate, you will work as part of a cross-functional team to provide technical support on process improvement in Circuit Card and Electronic Unit manufacturing.
\n - Provide technical support to establish manufacturing methods to improve process flow
\n - Support investigations to determine root cause of defects.
\n - Ensure readiness for new programs transitioning from Development into full Production
\n - Review/approve changes to production methods due to design changes
\n - Resolve engineering configuration / hardware issues
\n - Analyze data to identify changes in process methods and product design
\n - Identify technical solutions to address quality issues
\n - Support failure analysis through collaboration with colleagues
\n - Champion a culture of continuous improvement through consistent application of Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
\n - Drive KPI (Key Process Indicators) improvements revolving around Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Utilization and execution of customer demand at the department level.
\n - Able to manage multiple projects, multiple deadlines, assuring schedules are defined and met, to prioritize work appropriately to meet commitments.
\n - Understand cost impact of process challenges and provide root cause and corrective actions.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills \n - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, electrical, systems, engineering, or other relevant discipline
\n - Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
\n - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
\n - Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Essentials
\n - Intermediate-level technical skills and knowledge of technical requirements and system flows skills relevant to job / area of work
\n - General understanding of Electronics Manufacturing Process
\n - Ability to work proficiently with computer-based systems
\n - Data analysis exposure
\n - Passion for solve challenges within a teaming environment

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills \n - Lean Manufacturing Certificate
\n - Statistical Analysis including SPC, CpK, MSA, DOE
\n - Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
\n - Experience of Electronics Manufacturing Processes

Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $52080 - $88535
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
