Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Assists in managing the daily operations of Corporate Purchasing Office for multiple hospital campuses and physician practices. Ensures compliance with purchasing policies and procedures.

* Participates in vendor management and resolves issues.

* Monitors Customer Service for team and resolves issues and concerns.

* Manages supply, equipment, service, and capital equipment orders.

* Develops bids and RFPs and evaluates responses.

* Supervises staff and is responsible for performance management and development.

* Develops Bids, Requests for Proposals. Evaluates responses.

* Work with customer to obtain quotes for budget requests and pending purchases.

* Manages invoices discrepancies Provides reports as needed.

* Manages procurement of equipment and supplies for construction/renovation projects for multiple campuses.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field and five years of purchasing experience OR the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
