Job Description

Manage Care Coordinator- the ideal candidate would have the following knowledge/background given the need for this person to hit the ground running.

• Knowledge of Medicare coverage and Medicaid coverage strongly preferred (Medicare and CMS guidelines, eMedNY Provider Manuals).
• Experience setting up or assigning authorizations for revie strongly preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (including Outlook, Word) required.
• Knowledge of HCPCS, CPT codes, ICD 10, HIPPA and PHI preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with a sense of urgency while maintaining attention to accuracy and details.
• Coding/billing experience preferred but not required.
• Additional programs utilized but prior knowledge is not required (Perceptive Content Image Now, MS Access, Adobe and Altruista Guiding Care, Excel, Teams OneNote).
• Excellent time management, organization and follow up skills.

Although we currently work remotely and go to the office quarterly it is not guaranteed that this is a remote work position. Phaxis
