Substitute Teacher – Midland & Odessa, TX

Teachers Now is seeking passionate, dependable Substitute Teachers to join our team in Midland and Odessa. What You’ll DoLead classrooms by following lesson plans provided by the teacher
Create an engaging, structured, and encouraging learning environment
Motivate students to stay focused and participate actively
Supervise students during instructional time, transitions, lunch, and recess
Assign and review classwork that aligns with learning goals
Record attendance and communicate updates to school staff
Collaborate with teachers and administrators to ensure student success
For long-term roles: plan and deliver lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum
Monday through Friday availability required
Full Day: 7:30AM – 4:00 PM
Half Day: 7:30AM – 12:00 PM or 11:30 PM – 4:00 PM
High School Diploma or GED (required)
Bachelor’s degree or teaching certification (preferred, not required)
Prior classroom or childcare experience is a plus
Strong communication, leadership, and organization skills
Dependable transportation and consistent punctuality
$100–$130 per day (based on education and/or teaching certification)
Reimbursement for fingerprinting
Paid training and professional support
Remote interview and onboarding process
