Machine Operator - Day and Night Openings!

The Machine Operator is responsible for set-up, start and running manufacturing equipment under the guidance of the Production Shift Leader. Accountabilities also include ensuring that jobs meet quality specifications, manufacturing standards and that safety procedures are followed while working to continuously improve quality and productivity of manufacturing operations.

Location: Fitchburg, WI

Pay: $20.00 - $21.17

Shift:

• Schedule for Days: 6AM-6PM,12-hour shifts, 4 days one week and 3 days the next week (3-2 schedule) Overtime is Available
• Schedule for Nights: 6PM-6AM,12-hour shifts, 4 days one week and 3 days the next week (3-2 schedule) Overtime is Available

Job Description of the  Warehouse Machine Operator :

• Machine Operation
• Set- up, operate and troubleshoot equipment to produce thermoformed parts and implement solution to complex process problems.
• Understand and apply principles to operate machinery and equipment independently.
• Ensure maximum efficiency of machine set-up.
• Inspect and perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the machinery, equipment, and facility.
• Assist with development of new product and processes.
• Train new operating and packaging technicians.
• Ensure part quality meets established standards and identify issues that adversely affect product requirements and communicate with the appropriate departments.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Complete all shift documentation
• Shift hand offs – go over job status and updates with incoming shifts.
• Follow all established safety procedures.
• Participate in safety programs.
• Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment.
