Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Loss Prevention Officer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in safeguarding our assets, preventing theft, and ensuring the safety of both employees and customers. This position requires a proactive approach to surveillance and conflict management, along with strong skills in report writing and criminal investigation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises through CCTV and other surveillance systems to detect suspicious activities.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure a secure environment.
• Investigate incidents of theft or loss, gathering evidence and preparing detailed reports.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to address criminal activities.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize risk and enhance security measures.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on loss prevention techniques and conflict management.
• Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in law enforcement or security is preferred.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation.
• Strong skills in criminal investigation techniques and report writing.
• Knowledge of loss prevention practices and procedures.
• Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
