What you get to do:
  • Maintain general purpose lock shop
  • Perform preventive maintenance on all locking devices
  • Process work orders as related to park locks/security
  • Maintain Key Authorization Contracts/Lists for all parks
  • Maintain high level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Provide support services to all department in matters of physical security, as related to locking hardware and mechanisms

What it takes to succeed:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Possess a locksmith certification and have experience with Best Locking system
  • Valid state driver's license and able to obtain a company driver's license
  • Able to complete provided CPR training/certification
  • Comfortable working around animals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to kneel, bend, and maneuver in tight spaces
  • Able to stand/walk for extended periods of time
  • Able to lift 30 pounds
  • Able to push/pull 50 pounds

Desired Qualifications
  • Strong computer skills
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
  • Previous experience as a locksmith in a multi-site and complex work environment

What else is important:
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights, if needed
  • Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing)
  • Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat. Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors, and cold/heat temperature extremes
    Perform cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals
  • Work a flexible schedule/hour based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be flexible in work locations as placement will depend on business needs and career development opportunities
