Job Description

Adams & Martin Group is seeking MULTIPLE Litigation Paralegal's in Kansas City, MO and surrounding areas for MULTIPLE openings. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting attorneys through all phases of the litigation process-from pre-trial through trial and appeal.

Compensation Ranges will vary upon experience and individual opening:

• Entry Level: $45,000 - $55,000 annual
• Mid-Level: $60,000 - $70,000 annual
• Senior Level: $75,000 ++++++++

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery requests/responses, and correspondence.
• Conduct legal research and analyze documents for relevance and accuracy.
• Maintain and organize case files, documents, and evidence using document management systems.
• Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and witness lists; coordinate logistics for depositions and trials.
• File legal documents with federal and state courts electronically and in person.
• Summarize depositions, interrogatories, and testimony.
• Manage calendars, deadlines, and hearing/trial schedules.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, court personnel, and opposing counsel.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
• Paralegal Certificate preferred, but not required.
• In-depth understanding of litigation lifecycle and court procedures.
• Proficient with legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw) and litigation software (e.g., Relativity, TrialDirector, CaseMap).
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• High level of professionalism and discretion.
