Job Description
ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Linux System Administrator to join our team in the Laurel, Maryland location.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Design, deploy and administer virtualized platforms, using VMWare.
- Configure and manage Linux and Solaris operating systems
- Installs/loads operating systems software
- Troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
- Build, install and configure infrastructure related software.
- The ability to troubleshoot higher-level problems and resolve complex technical issues where documentation is either lacking or non-existent.
- Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Shall have a minimum of twelve (12) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in technical discipline is required. Additional five years of experience may be substituted for degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fifteen (15) years of relevant experience
- Experience in implementing solutions with PKI-controlled access is desired.
- Understanding networking components is desired.
Clearance Requirements:
- Current/Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
