Job Title: Line Cook Hourly Rate: $18.00/hr Shift Times: Shift times will vary depending on client needs Location: Austin, TX Indeed Flex is hiring Line Cooks for their hospitality and dining service client in Austin, TX. From August 29th, 2024 to October 31st, 2024, earn an extra $100 when you complete 5 consecutive shifts! Terms and Conditions apply. Benefits:

Job Requirements:

• Prior experience in food service is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team setting.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of food safety procedures and sanitation guidelines.
• Must arrive dressed in chef coats or cook’s jackets, with black pants, and be well groomed, wearing black closed-toe non-skid shoes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assist in food production using fryers, grills, and ovens.
• Follow recipes, apply knife skills, and ensure proper labeling and dating of food.
• Monitor and record food and refrigeration temperatures according to safety guidelines.
• Stock and organize grab-and-go coolers, drinks, soup stations, shelves, and condiments.
• Set up and break down serving lines and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work area, including counters, utensils, floors, refrigerators, and stock rooms.
• Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and allergy protocols.
• Follow all kitchen policies, procedures, and supervisor instructions.
